MUDGEE RDA IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

Ever thought about volunteering? Come take a look at the Mudgee RDA program. We’re an all-inclusive program, that offers flexible timings for our volunteers, so, you can participate for an hour, half a day or a full day depending on how much time you have to give. We have many diverse roles for our volunteers and there is something for everyone, from horse grooming, to working on games for riders, riders’ assistance with helmets, leading a horse and many more. There’s no previous experience required, we take you through training and teach you everything you need to know! We’re a team of proud volunteers and we need your help to ensure our wonderful riders can continue doing what they love. Our RDA program runs on a Wednesday during school terms. If the idea of being around horses and some fabulous humans has the brain lighting up, then get in touch and we will share all the details with you.

Working with Children Certificate

As our riders are of varying ages, you will need a current WWC certificate from service NSW to be a Volunteer. It’s very easy simply apply online by clicking the button below, once you’ve applied you will need to pop into a Service NSW office to verify your identity.

During the process of application online, when it comes to step 4 “Purpose of check” Select volunteers and then choose disability services in the drop down box. Volunteers are provided a free WWC from the government.
